🔍 Show Calculations for Sell Through %
What's new
Show Calculations now covers Calculated Sell Through % and Phase Out Sell Through % in the new Assortment Plan. Right-click either metric on a choice or offering row and you get the formula, every number that fed it, and how the result was reached.
What you can do
- Open the breakdown from the grid:Right-click the cell and choose Show Calculations, or click the info icon that appears in the cell when you hover over it.
- Trace every input:The dialog splits the formula into its numerator (actualized and planned sales) and its denominator (BOP Units, actualized sales, Additional Receipts Units, Returns Units and On Order Units), each with its own figure, so a surprising percentage points you straight at the input behind it.
- See the result before it was capped:Sell through is capped to a 0% to 100% range. The dialog shows the raw result next to the capped one, so a choice reading 100% tells you whether sales outran the units in the denominator.
- Check the stored figure against the current inputs:The value saved on the plan sits beside the one rebuilt from today's metrics, and the dialog tells you when the two differ and why, whether that is an inventory run that has not caught up or a choice that has started selling.
- Read the same breakdown for Phase Out Sell Through %:Same formula, measured up to each offering's phase-out date. When no phase-out date is set, the two columns match and the dialog says so instead of leaving you to wonder.
- Work at either level:Open it on a choice row for the roll-up, or on an offering row for that offering's own numbers, along with the selling window each was measured over.
Why it helps
- Answer "why is this choice at 100%?" in the grid, without exporting the plan to rebuild the formula in a spreadsheet.
- Check a sell-through figure before you plan receipts against it.
- See which offering drives a choice-level number, since the breakdown reads at both levels.
