📈 Gross Sales Units vs Last Year in Assortment Plan Line Building

What's new

Gross Sales Units on the Assortment Plan Line Building workflow now has two more variants you can tick on:

Act LY

, what the choice actually sold in the same weeks last year, and

Plan vs Act LY %

, how far above or below last year you are planning.

What you can do

Tick them on from the Variants menu
– Open the view menu, go to Variants, and check Act LY and Plan vs Act LY %. They sit right under Act, Plan and System.
See last year beside the plan
– Act LY lands next to Plan and Act on every choice, so the comparison is on the row you are already working in.
Read the gap as a percentage
– Plan vs Act LY % does the math for you. Positive means you are planning above last year, negative means below.
Scan a whole assortment at once
– Sort on the percent column to pull the choices furthest from last year to the top.
Keep it in your view
– Save the view once the variants are on and they come back every time you open it.

Why it helps

Catch a choice planned well over or under last year before the buy is locked.
Keeps the last-year comparison in the grid you already plan in, instead of an export.
Rolls up over each choice's own selling window, so it lines up with the plan sitting next to it.
